Motion Game Console BodyLink Funded With 1,900% of (Modest) Kickstarter Goal

This reminds me a lot of Kinect, in that you're the controller. Though it does come with a controller, it looks more like a small remote. The device doesn't look all that appealing to me. But I guess this was successfully funded on Kickstarter recently. They originally only had a goal of $5000, but have reached $94,872 in funding. 

Kind of surprised this actually made it with how no one really cared for the Kinect. But maybe it's been enough time where most people have forgotten about it. 

Anyway, is this something you'd ever get? Or do you see this as a novelty thing where you'll play it once or twice and be done with it?

I get your point! The BodyLink does remind me of Kinect, too. While the funding success is impressive, I see it more as a novelty. I’d probably use it a few times, then it would gather dust.
