I find that social media often behaves like an echo chamber, where opinions and rumors spread fast, yet it also offers a platform for immediate feedback and corrective responses from developers, thus serving as both amplifier and mitigator.

Social media platforms have played a big role in the gaming industry. Controversies, discussions and disagreements about certain games can always be seen on these platforms. This, in a way, amplify these games to a bigger audience which is good for everyone taking part.
