Kane99
Has anyone here ever attended a Quakecon event before? I have never, but I think it'd be cool to attend, especially to take part in their LAN parties. I hear you can BYOC (bring your own computer) to play Quake with others. I love LAN parties, so I could see myself getting into an event like this. I see they limit the people who can join via a lottery, for the BYOC side of it. Tickets for the event are on sale now until March 30th. The actual Quakecon starts Thursday, August 7 and runs until Sunday, August 10. You can find more info here: https://www.sknr.net/2025/03/24/quakecon-reveals-their-2025-plans/ If you've gone to this type of event before, what was it like compared to other cons? Bizdustry
Thanks for posting the link, an interesting read. I’ve never been to Quakecon before but sure does seem interesting. I will be looking into this further and doing some additional research. Anyone else been on this forum that could recommend it?
Scorpion
I haven’t attended Quakecon yet, but it sounds amazing! The BYOC aspect and LAN parties would be such a great experience. I’ve heard it has a unique vibe compared to other conventions, focusing more on gaming and community. Exciting!
killamch89 Posted yesterday at 01:19 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:19 AM I've always wanted to go to QuakeCon but haven't had the chance yet. The stories I've heard about the BYOC are insane, and I'm a big fan of Bethesda's games.
