killamch89
Games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Luigi’s Mansion 3 have cheered me up on rough days, but I want to hear your stories. Which Nintendo title offered solace during a difficult period, and how? Was it the soothing routine of farming in Stardew Valley on Switch, or the lighthearted co-op in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? Share how the gameplay, characters, or world design provided comfort and why that experience still matters to you now.
Shortie
I remember when we were in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdowns were pretty tight. It was a shock to have to distance ourselves from family and friends we did not live with and even though the weather was nice and that helped, it was a rough time. I remember Animal Crossing: New Horizons was newly launched that year and I was able to snag it with money I had received for my birthday. I would play for hours without even realizing and that helped take my mind off things.
