Jayson
I like to make computer 3D art, so visuals highly interest me. Anyway, with games being so advanced generally, it might be hard to pick the best looking ones. Well, what criteria do you use to make your decision? DylanC
Motion capture, texture fidelity, lighting, animation, character models, lip syncing all contribute to the overall graphical presentation. The Last Of Us, God Of War and Killzone Shadow Fall are probably the best looking games I've played. But I think Octopath Traveler is also an amazing-looking game which marries 16-bit aesthetics with more modern lighting.
Martin Berisford
For me, the games that hit these spots are GTA5 and Far Cry 5, I thought both games had some amazing visuals and looked almost realistic. I'm still impressed at how 'modern' GTA5 looks even after all the time it's now been out for, amazing set of work that game is. Far Cry 5 also looked amazing to me, didn't like the story that much to be honest but I loved the 'cinematic' feel to it! DC
Katri Marcell
For me it is all about the characters. I can forgive the background being a little blurry but if the NPC and my character aren't high quality, that's where I draw the line! I'm in love with pixelated indie games though so I don't have much to ask for 😄
