skyfire
There are many action and strategy game out there. The Hong Kong Massacre is one game that you may feel like playing the action game similar to max payne. It seems like it has some interesting weapons. And you have lot of action at every step of the way till every level ends. There are total 35 levels. And they get difficult with increased use of ammo in between. For those who want to try out the game is already out. Have you played or seen the gaming walk-through of The Hong Kong Massacre?
DylanC
This game sounded right up my alley as I love Hotline Miami and twin stick shmups but the reviews have sadly been pretty mediocre for it. May pick it up in a sale in the future.
killamch89
You were right about it being just like Max Payne - It literally is the Asian version of Max Payne from the playthroughs I saw. The story is practically non-existent and it has a top-down camera angle which for old GTA games it was acceptable given the technological limitations at the time. In 2019, a good number of gamers hate this kind of camera angle.
skyfire
Based on the gameplay I would say it is not that bad either. I'd say that game is pretty unique in it's own way.
Folk Artist
In this Hong Kong Massacre game, you play an ex-cop out for revenge, after his partner was killed by triad gangsters - but it mostly serves a vehicle for your violent shootouts.
skyfire
In the context of the violence, I'd say it is at extreme and if you don't want the kids to have it, then yes, this is one of those type of the games you are supposed to avoid in the first place.
