killamch89
I have had and still have the Nintendo DS, 3DS, Wii, PS3, and Gameboy advance emulators on my Windows 10 computer and I haven't experienced any issues at all. With Microsoft ceasing support for Windows 7 this year, now would be a good time to upgrade. Windows 10 isn't completely fool-proof but it gets the job done. kingpotato
Patrik
No difference in Performance (except less ram usage in windows 7 but not that much of difference) when it comes to emulators, but it's a plus to have windows 10 installed because lot of softwares stopped supporting windows
skyfire
Windows 10 used to have a lot of performance issues in past but since 1909 the build has improved for the Linux and anything that deals with command prompt or older game emulators. Syntax
I’ve always used Windows 7 for my emulation needs since it tends to be more stable (and with no more updates it won’t change moving forward like Windows 10 does every update).
skyfire
Yeah Windows 10 seems to have a lot of bugs. I lost my headphone jack connectivity as it stops recognizing due to Realtek bug. I think it's better to use the emulator software instead of relying on the Windows 10 base support.
