Alexander.
Are DVDs becoming obsolete and outdated in the 21 century, why or why not? What do you think? Explain your reasons why and vote in the Poll, too! Not just yet, but they will be in the near future just like Records which moved onto CDs. kingpotato
Yeah they are becoming outdated but I actually purchased a DVD about two and half years ago, a couple of years ago I didnt paid for any Internet service since I didnt really needed it , I still had hundreds of DVDs in brand new condition, in the last year I did made a contract for internet service but we still use the DVD almost every day, mostly for the small kids at home. DylanC
Blu Ray is superior, for sure. I do think DVDs will be around for a few more years. Mainly because many people own a DVD player and they’re still quite popular. I don’t mind the quality of DVD. But personally I mostly buy Blu Ray as it’s undeniably a crisper image and improved audio.
jonbones
Discs in general are out the door - it's all streaming & digital here on out. I understand not everyone has decent internet, but it's certainly headed that way.
