None of them are modded, and they are the original actual systems. I have no problems as of yet, but you're right. They will break down eventually. The NES can be moody as hell, but that's to be expected from a 34 year old system. They were released in 1985 after all. But either way, I'm sticking to gaming that way. True to that there is nothing like playing with the original console to feed that nostalgia, I had my fair of issues trying to get working consoles and fixing some others thats why I dont like owning retro-consoles. The Blackangel
I have 3 NES & 3 SNES consoles, all in perfect working order. I pick up bundles off CL all the time. If there's a problem with a cartridge system I fix it and resell it. Or hang on to it for myself. I have a couple N64,s and a few Sega's. Both gen1 and gen2 Sega's. I also have 3 PS3's and more PS2's than I know what to do with. Then there's also my Atari 2600, and Sears Home Gaming System. But that one I don't play because it's complete in box and I don't want to fuck anything up. Edited June 1, 2019 by The Blackangel
skyfire
I think in near future you would be finding a lot of retro consoles for the sale. I think cloud gaming is going to make the price of old consoles very much important.
Syntax
GameCube is retro right? Otherwise I have the PS classic retro that they brought back, with of course more of the games via the nice little hack you can do to it.

If it uses a CD it is in no way retro. A retro system uses cartridges. An exception would be something like the Sega CD, or another disc system that came out pre-2000. Meaning if it is a 6th gen or newer, it's not in any way retro. Wikipedia Generation List
Shole
I have a PS2 if it is retro, and I had one of them old nitendo thingies copy that doesn't work anymore with cartilages.

I would have loved to get back the Gameboy as a retro gaming platform, but that's by the way. I wouldn't have that time to play Gameboy anymore, my PS4 is taking much of my time. But that doesn't mean, I'm ruling off playing or buying retro console in the future.

Playstation 2 is considered a retro gaming console now. It's old enough to be seen as one. I still consider the Super NES as the very best when it comes to retro gaming consoles. Ravenfreak
Most of the consoles I own are retro. I own all the Sega consoles aside from the Master System, so that means I have four Genesis, a Sega CD, two Game Gears, 32x, Saturn, and Dreamcast. For the retro Nintendo consoles I own, they are a toploader NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Color, and Gameboy Advance. I own a Xbox, I don't consider the 360 retro just yet. I own a PS one, and two PS2s. I still think the Genesis is the best retro console, Sonic is better than Mario IMO.
Lens
I've actually own a few retro consoles, including a Sega Genesis and a PlayStation from 1994. They'r worth it something especially for their nostalgic value.
Button
I've got a few retro consoles myself, including a Nintendo 64 a Dreamcast and an original Xbox . The Nintendo 64 still works flawlessly to this day.
