I remember that I absolutely loved the first game, it was revolutionary in the Hack and Slash genre. Then Devil May Cry 2 came out and it was utter tripe, put me off the series for years. He does have a very laid-back style of fighting because he likes to get into his opponent's head and it causes them to drop their guard and it allows him to pick them off.
