I write on them what system they're for and that takes care of it. I keep them under my coffee table for the most part so they're out of the way. Then when I want to play a game, I just pull it out and pop it in. The only hiccup is the NES. But you gotta remember that it's a 30 year old system so it's gonna be moody as hell. You've put a lot of effort into the list (it's even put into alphabetical order!). I've got a lot of games on Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Switch and Wii. I keep most of them down in the garage in boxes, but I have a pile next to the TV of all the games and movies I've been playing/watching recently. I don't think I'll be selling them any time soon. I would like to find a copy of Swordquest: Waterworld for Atari. I would say Airworld, but that one was never made due to the video game collapse in the early 80's. The Blackangel Posted April 8, 2019 Share Posted April 8, 2019 I guess you could call it OCD. If I don't have everything neat and tidy, it will drive me nuts until I fix it. For example I keep a printout in my purse of all the games I have. The reason for that is because my library is so big, that it's impossible to keep track of them all. So when I'm at a gaming store and see a game that looks interesting, I can look and see if I already have it. Now last week I bought a few new games. I added them to the list and printed out a whole new list to keep with me and threw the old one away. For games that I could count on one hand. But it works for me. The only thing it does to interfere with my gaming though is 1-cripple my executive function, and 2-give me a compulsive need to check every corner and every container in every room in every area of every game I play. If I suspect I might have missed a chest in some room half a dungeon back, I run all the way back half the time. I keep some obsessive lists as well, including lists of desired games, Netflix shows, etc. Though I'd say in my case, that is probably more of a desire not to forget about anything potentially awesome (because with poor executive function, I will) than a compulsive OCD-like need.
