Nobody is surprised at their business practices - most companies have done very shady things but they have the funds and media influence to cover it up or spin the narrative. Companies also use offshore divisions of their company to evade taxes because the tax laws in a particular country may be very "loose" or non-existent so they'll sue this method to avoid paying taxes. Or literally anything that isn't the military. All while championing these corporations and the broken system that allows them to avoid paying their fair share. There isn't a worldwide tax policy - each country has their own system so companies simply exploit that lack of communication.
