There is some backlash in the community about certain aspects such as server lag and aim assist. The scene is very popular in terms of viewership and prizes. I've heard popular Fortnite players complaining about aim assist and controller players having an advantage over keyboard and mouse players because of the aim assist but like @hungeryhippo has mentioned above, Fortnite eSports and Fortnite in general are still doing amazing in terms of viewership and prizes. In fact even the PUBG is not doing good for that matter. It seems like pretty fun at first but the market is slowly settling to something better than just battle royale.
