StaceyPowers
Is anyone else here into old text adventures, i.e. the original Zork games? If so, what are some of your favourites?
kingpotato
Well the only one I cant think of is Zork 😆 I did played some choose Your Own Adventure Books in High school like the Lone Wolf series. You had to use a dice and math to win battles , kinda like Dungeons and Dragons. StaceyPowers

StaceyPowers
@TheSteelyardDweller @kingpotato Actually, some of them did have "graphics" of a sort. I.e. maps made out of characters on the screen, or even simple images. I can't recall specifically if that was present in any of the single player games, but I know that a lot of MUDs feature that kind of thing. I would like to try a MUD someday. I expect they are! The site to visit if you want to find a MUD is http://www.mudconnect.com/. When I used it, their database was always up-to-date and provided a lot of useful information so that you can narrow down categories and find what you want. I haven't played MUDs in around fifteen years, but they were alive and well back when I did. If you do find one that you enjoy, please let me know what it is, as I've always wanted to find a good one again.
