I watched 4 free episodes of it and then went on buying subscription. There are few other TV series in there too. Would you recommend it? How good is the show? How does it compare to most of the superhero series on TV currently (like Daredevil etc.)?
skyfire
Now that they are closing the YT Red. I think you;d get the TV series for free or maybe that series may move to amazon or netflix. It definitely had potential.
killamch89
Google Stadia is such a dumb idea - I have no clue why google thinks most people will find this appealing. I mean, they basically take away your right to own the games, the platform may not perform well depending on your internet provider and it just sounds like a big hot mess. I knew Youtube Red would have kicked the bucket within 5 years because hardly anyone watches it and isn't prepared to be subscription fee for very little benefits. Mostly the TV series in the Scifi and Horror genre. And I am sure those will be moved to the Amazon Prime. It's a big library and have to check on your mood basis. Hardly anything Google does nowadays makes any damn sense at all - the Google Stadia is a ridiculous concept especially when the Google execs begin to explain exactly how it functions. It is an idiot project to say the least.
skyfire
Most of the google projects die quickly. Apart from search, adsense, adwords and gmail, they don't have anything strong from what I have heard.

skyfire
It starts slow but it gets ahead with some really good points. I am sure if they were to be investing better CGI they could have got better result.

I've counted at least 40 and that is a lot of failed projects that they had dumped millions of dollars into.
skyfire
Yeah. And the thing is that Youtube is moving towards twitch like subscription for channels. So they are safe that way.
SaucyPastaTho
The future of streaming. No it's not the "future". There's plenty of game streaming services out there like Xbox gamepass and PS now, only reason its expensive is because it's made by google the multi billion dollar company.
