StaceyPowers
When you are playing an RPG, do you prefer your character to be a complete “blank slate” onto which you can fully ascribe a personality, or a character already well developed? Or do you prefer something in between?
kingpotato
Blank state always, thats actually one of the reasons why I havent purchased the Witcher 3, everybody tells me its a great game and I might buy it one day, but the one thing that doesnt appeal to me is that this is an already well developed character with a huge background. killamch89
skyfire
I played the EL CHRONICLE game recently that starts with the blank slate for some characters and get you from 0 level to XX levels and also uses EXP and Elixirs to level up hero and it's kind of from scratch type of games. Same here - I prefer to develop my characters from scratch and give them their own personalities, skills and morals. The witcher 3 is an awesome game but my reason for not trying to play it is because of its lack of optimisation.
skyfire
I kind of that RPG and also some FPS games can build the RPG characters and it kind of grows on you slowly.
The Blackangel
It all depends on the game. Some games are better with a predrawn character, while others are better with a fully customized character. StaceyPowers
skyfire
I noticed that these days most of the games are stealing the character from each other for example, X-men, gambit character is being ripped in the EL CHRONICLE and also in league of legends.
