Was playing Folklore on PS3 emulator today - I just got a 2TB Micro SD for my Steam Deck along with 2TB memory I installed the other day so now, my Steam Deck has the same amount of memory as my gaming laptop and is a potent emulation and gaming machine.

Damn, 4TB of storage on the Steam Deck is pretty sick! I got a 1TB SSD in mine along with a 512gb SD card.

I've been playing quite a few games this weekend. I played through all of Firewatch, and I really enjoyed it. I've had it in my steam library for years but have never played it, so I decided to finally start playing it on my Steam Deck. It was a pretty short experience, I'd say I spent about 5 hours on, which is kind of perfect for a game like this if you ask me.

I also picked up a few games on a Steam sale, so I've been playing a bit of Diablo 4 and Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip.

Diablo 4 is just perfect for the Steam Deck. I've played it on Xbox, but it was totally worth buying again to play on the deck.

Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip is a pretty charming indie game, it reminds me a lot of The Simpsons: Hit & Run, which is one of my all time favorite games.

In addition, I've also started playing Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth on the Xbox. I'm a few hours in, and just arrived in Hawaii. I do like it so far, but I'm kind of surprised by just how much of the game is cutscenes instead of gameplay. My only previous experience with the Yakuza/Like A Dragon-series is a few hours of the last game, Yakuza: Like A Dragon. I've heard that Infinite Wealth is one of the best games of 2024, so I though I would give it a shot.

It's pretty easy to upgrade the internal SSD. It's almost as easy as installing a new NVME SSD on a laptop or desktop. It takes like half an hour at most to replace it. It's just that you have to redownload Steam OS and reinstall it but that's pretty easy. I also wanted to upgrade the RAM to 32GB but I'm not an expert at swapping out soldered ram. Risking a $549 device over my love for experimenting and customizing hardware is definitely not worth it in this case. Funny enough, I only learned that Sandisk was now offering 2TB SD cards last month and that's why I decided to get it. It cost like $200 though. The 1TB is now $84 and the 1.5TB is like $100 - $110 so I think you can easily upgrade to that. The PC games I love playing on my Steam Deck the most is God Of War 2018, The Last Of Us, Deus Ex Mankind Divided and DMC 5. Honestly, I hardly carry around my gaming laptop anymore since getting my Steam Deck.

I finished Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip last night. It was a fun little game, took me about 5 hours to do everything in the game, the only thing I haven't done is get the "100% Completed" achievement, which requires finding every single collectible. When I finished the game I had about 2100 out of 2400, and I really can't bothered running aimlessly around the map looking for 300 tiny collectables.

After that I started Nier: Automata, which is a game I've been meaning to play for years. I've heard a lot of good things about it, but I've only played about an hour of it previously. Seems like a good game so far, it runs and looks great on the Steam Deck, and the combat feels really good.

Played some Fallout 4 today and came up with a new cybernetic soldier build that's part of the institute. It was crazy with the amount of tech it had including drones and other stuff. I completely terrorized my enemies.

Played some Sims 4 and it's turned into a whole soap opera. So basically, one of the female sims is cheating with the neighbor and the kids told the father when he came back from a business trip and because I have the divorce mod installed, he filed for divorce...But there's another twist because he was secretly cheating with a co-worker and got her pregnant so yeah..it's all kicking off.
