I think most of us have run into these stories in the news sometimes about people who actually died or wound up in a hospital because of too much gaming. The Blackangel Posted November 26, 2019 Share Posted November 26, 2019 I don't remember what the game was, but I got into a tournament at a gaming café a long time ago. All of us who were regulars that were there every day knew each other well. I was out after about 3 hours. I think I was the second or third one that lost out. After it got late that night, I decided it was time to go home and get some sleep. I came back the next day and the tournament was STILL going! About 2 hours after I got there one of the guys playing just dropped. Everyone checked him out, and he was out. The owner called 911 and he was dehydrated and just exhausted. He spent 2 days in the hospital. He kept up with his gaming after he got out, and he's a professional gamer now and competes in gaming tournaments for some of his favorites that he's best at.
