Luckily enough, I have most of SG1 on DVD, and I have a subscription to the provider that has Atlantis. I remember when they were given the news that they needed to wrap things up, that the directors were trying to get approval to make a movie or two to wrap up Atlantis, but wasn't given the go ahead in time. Always funny how when you rewatch something, you catch things you didn’t the first time around. Did you like the spin-offs or movies?
