Are you saving up for a new console and/or games right now? If so, which?

It is probably pretty hard to save for purchases right now for a lot of people with COVID-19 eating into incomes.

But I still managed to put a little bit of my tax refund away in a pile toward purchasing a PlayStation 5 and some games. Hopefully I can keep it in that pile.

The games I am saving for are mostly PS4 games which I am assuming I can play on a PS5. The games I am saving for are:

• RDR 2
• The Outer Worlds
• The Last of Us 2
• Innocence: A Plague Tale
• No Man’s Sky
• Fallout 4
• Life is Strange
• BioShock: The Collection

What games are you saving up for right now?

I’m not actually saving up for anything, as I buy either on eBay or through the Nintendo eStore.

Definitely thinking of PS 5 as of now. Not sure about games as of now.Lot of backlog already yet to finish for me.

I'm currently saving for a PS5 and a few launch games too. I've also got my eye on RE3 Remake, but just waiting for it to come down in price as I've heard it's pretty short.

As of Today I'm saving my pretty penny for a new saints row game coming out. Well not new remastered 3.

Fallouts new releases would be interesting by the time I get my hands on console and that game.

I have no idea when the PS5 is coming out but I will not buy the first build, due to fear of bugs and issues, but I will put money aside for when I do finally buy it. Will need to save up for it now that I think of it.

Both the Xbox Series X and the PS5 are confirmed for holiday 2020, so the they will be released around October/November this year.

Oh right, I never knew. Better get saving up then. I will probably buy the second build whenever they release that - probably a few months or a year from the original release.

I see that ending up like Furbys and Tickle Me Elmo. People beating each other in the store and trying to steal from the ones that were lucky enough to be able to buy one. It's never a good idea to release something like this around the holidays. Unless you're taking bets on how many people end up in the hospital and/or morgue.

They released the PS4 and XB1 at the same time of year back in 2013 and I didn't see nor hear any stories like that. Mostly it was idiot fanboys buying consoles just to smash them outside the store because they wanted attention.

I'm pretty set for games right now, though I guess I'll have to start saving up for the PS5 pro, whenever that is announced.
