skyfire
It seems like WWE franchise is on some sort of the financial turmoil or maybe the lockdown issues affecting them. So they have tweet on this.
Shagger
I think this is a good thing. WWE hasn't had a good tie-in game since 2K took over and they only got worse, culminating in the disaster known as WWE 2K20. This franchise needs a break to get it's shit together, and honestly if WWE were to look elsewhere to produce the games that might be for the best. kingpotato
skyfire
I am assuming this could be financial issue as well.

Incorrect. 2K14 and 2K17-18 were some of the best games 2K put out.

True, but even a good 2K is garbage when held to standards that you would expect from anyone else. The only thing that you could accredit them was they can make a good looking game, but even that standered has slipped in recent years. They're games aren't stable, they're too keen to mess around with control set up when there was nothing wrong with them and their monotisation practices are some of the worst in the industry. I see so this is more or less release specific development issue.
