How do you feel about short loops for soundtracking in games?

I definitely prefer full length songs or at least fairly long repeating loops in game soundtracks. Super short loops (i.e. 10 seconds) actually drive me kinda crazy. What about you?

To be honest, I usually don't even notice. I'm always concentrating on the gameplay more than the background music. But I can easily see myself muting the game if it's something short and repetitive. That would get old as hell REAL quick.

i don't think they use loop anymore, there are full soundtracks from what i noticed in pretty much every game i played, and i believe those loops disappeared in old school racing games

I think it depends on the song playing. If it's loud and often overbearing, then yeah I'm going to be a bit annoyed. There area  lot of games that have annoying, repeating tracks that just get tiresome after a while to hear. 

I personally want a simple song, that's volume is low when you're not doing much. I think slowing songs down makes it better if they keep repeating the same song/theme.

I definitely prefer full songs rather than looped versions because it really becomes annoying to hear it every 10 seconds. In some games, I actually turn the music off if it starts to get remotely annoying.

Personally, I don't really care about how long the soundtrack comes in as long as the songs is cool. But if it's not long enough, I wouldn't get the soundtrack outside the game to use it for ringtone.
