CD Projekt Red Promises Refunds And Fixes After Buggy Launch Of Cyberpunk 2077

We've had various discussion about this buggy launch and I've said countless times that they should've waited until the game was actually ready. Due to the bad publicity of the launch, CD Projekt Red is now issuing refunds and promising Patch fixes. Now hear me out, I blasted them for the buggy launch and they fully deserved the criticism but I'll at least say that not many companies would've offered refunds (cough*EA - Star Wars Battlefront* cough). Bethesda and others wouldn't do the same - it at least shows us that they have acknowledged that they screwed up badly. Let's just hope they don't do this again. What are your thoughts on this?

Refund only makes this worst. I think refunds makes them go down more in the loss and makes the franchise get it harder to go up.

Yup, it's just becoming another Fallout 76 situation, just more problems after more problems. With each bad news that comes out, CDPR keeps losing fans. Not a good look on their part.

You know something - we need a bit of perspective here...Fallout 76 was complete trash from the get go. Cyberpunk has its issues but there's a good game with a pretty awesome story there not to mention lots of character customization options and no microtransactions! I don't think it will get as bad as Anthem or Fallout 76 because there's actual content and gameplay there minus the bugs. I will say this though that people will be far more skeptical of any games they release in the future.

There's yet another update on this ongoing situation. It seems CD Projekt Red is now holding an emergency meeting to regain the trust of its consumers and fixing the game.
