Kane99
Found an article from the Guardian, about 20 books about video games, that gamers should read. There's a pretty decent list of books here. I sadly am not much of a reader, but I always get into stuff that revolves around video game history, so I may try to find these books one day. Anyway, has anyone read any of the books on the list? I'm not familiar with any except for a couple I saw on Amazon briefly. I'm tempted to get a couple of them, but don't want to spend too much right now. As well, are there any other video game books you have read and maybe enjoyed or hated? I'd love to find out about other video game themed books. Withywarlock
killamch89
I do like reading but I don't need books to tell me why video games matter. I can personally see the benefits of video games on my life and that includes, something to occupy my time, improving my co-ordination skills and being a part of a community that shares this hobby (VGR). Heatman
Personally, I don't really think it's necessary for me to read any book before I can understand how important video games are to me. I know they make me happy and I don't need to read any book to know that.
