StaceyPowers
Has anyone noticed how many games there are where sex and pain sound almost interchangeable? A lot of the enemy vocals in response to being shot in Mass Effect 2 are particularly funny in this respect. If I were a kid playing it, I’d worry my parents would overhear it and think it was porn. The game I think is absolutely best at NOT doing this is TLOU. All the sounds of pain in that game are unmistakably sounds of pain.
killamch89
Dead or Alive is one of those games very guilty of this. GTA is also in this category and I'd also throw in Saints Row.

In the case of Dead or Alive I don't think it's even an accident! 😁 In the case of... In general. I think I see this more often in movies and TV than in games. In my experience most games that feature sex and violence will either WAY exaggerate the sex sounds (much like porn) or mute them to most likely distance it from this very connection. So I don't think I've ever really had an issue with this killamch89

Reality vs Adventure
If I was an alien listening to and watching humans do the deed, I'd think they were hurting each other by the the sounds and looks on their faces. Is this face pleasure or pain??? killamch89 and Crazycrab
The Blackangel
Not only does it happen in RDR2, but it happens with animals as well. Try shooting a muskrat. When you do it sounds like a woman having one hell of an orgasm. It's quick and sharp, but I still envy her. StaceyPowers and killamch89

Empire
Ohhh, Seen games or should say simulators that are just out of this world with sex and how they made it. Games from "wanking" and to "Shower With Your Dad" At times wounder how the games get approved on steam and also Twitch. But they are around and you can buy them. Sounds are just bad in Wanking sim, I mean what the flip. Next flying in a A320 and a female in talking away like she's has a firehorse

I mean their stupid and not something that I would ever consider buying, but it's free speech and their not a insult against any demographic and obviously aren't ment to be taken that seriously. I did recently hear that Steam will not release Super Seducer 3 on their platform and that product, at least in my opinion, IS insulting because it insinuates that the psychology of all women can be broken down to a single formula. Not to mention the sexist undertone of it's purpose assuming the assuming of the manipulative tactics techniques described actually work.
skyfire
Maybe it could be just me thinking that they could be consciously adding it in their dubbing. So that people notice it as well. I mean that could be one possible explanation too?
The Blackangel
I have that game wanking simulator. Lets just say it's different.

Demon_skeith
Pretty sure the Bayonetta games had a bunch of sounds like these 😛

That's quite an astonishing observation really. 😆 There might be games that I have gone through that had similar vocal effects as you said, but I hardly observe those sounds. I rather focus more on my game. 😊 Edited August 4, 2021 by Razor1911
