StaceyPowers
For games that at core are single player but have multiplayer modes, which have you played that were really good?
killamch89
GTA V is an excellent example of this - the single-player story is extremely solid but the online component is whole different beast. The only real complaint I have with this game is that they are constantly making brand new content for the multiplayer mod but no DLCs for the single-player. Withywarlock
I don't imagine many people will remember it now but.... the two campaigns in Conker: Live and Reloaded. The first one was the Squirrels and Tediz in a Second World War-like setting, and the second was in a sci-fi setting with reference to Alien and Starship Troopers. Both were incredible fun with tug-o'-war style gameplay in flag capture, Conquest/Rush style and deathmatch content, featuring flying machines, tanks, small vehicles, and a number of classes which provided a lot of utility. It was very much an unexpected but hugely popular multiplayer game, and there's not a lot I wouldn't give to have it back.
Heatman
I can only think of three games that I played that are single player with multiplayer modes. They are ; Far Cry 2 Mass Effect 3 Doom 2016
