Four New Operators Coming in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 2

When Season 2 officially launches in both Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone on the 25th of February, Naga, the first of several planned Operators will be coming to both games. A further three will be launching in the weeks that follow, all themed around jungle warfare.

The Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Operators

As per usual, one of the upcoming Season 2 Operators will be available in Black Ops Cold War & Warzone from launch. Treyarch has yet to confirm whether they will be an initial reward tied to the Season 2 Battle Pass, but that would be likely; after all, that’s how similar Operators have been introduced in the past.

Whatever the case, Naga will be the first new Operator available, for the Warsaw Pact. Kapano “Naga” Vang is a former warlord from Laos; “who grew rich trafficking drugs and weapons through the notorous Golden Triangle”. He was subsequently recruited by Perseus and now oversees their weapon smuggling operations.

Following the release of Naga, three more Operators will be launching in Season 2, starting with Maxis. Coming to join the NATO faction, Samantha Maxis was recently rescued from the Omega Group at Firebase Z, in the Zombies portion of the game. The remaining two Operators, like Naga, are both specialists in jungle warfare. The first is Wolf, also coming to the NATO faction. Terrell Wolf is a Delta Force sniper from Louisiana, recruited by Adler for his rescue mission.

The final Operator coming to Black Ops Cold War & Warzone in Season 2 will be Rivas. (The third new addition to the NATO lineup in this season.) Karla Rivas, like Wolf, is a member of Adler’s rescue team. However, unlike Wolf, she is a guerrilla fighter from Nicaragua who has devoted her life to fighting the Menendez Cartel. Treyarch has confirmed that Maxis, Wolf, and Rivas will all become available through their own store bundles during the course of Season 2, just like Operators in Season 1.
