Right now, PlayStation Plus subscribers are enjoying playing the July 2019 free games, including Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 and Horizon Chase Turbo. But what will the free PlayStation Plus August 2019 games include? Let’s go over some predictions for the upcoming free PS Plus games.
1. Gundam Versus
One exciting upcoming game which is on the way on August 6th to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is Metal Wolf Chaos XD by FromSoftware. As this is a mech game, maybe a different mech game will be featured for free during the month of August 2019. One possibility could be 2017’s PS4 exclusive Gundam Versus.
2. Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition
Another release to look forward to during the month of August is Remnant: From the Ashes. This game is due out on August 20th and will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game is the work of Gunfire Games, the same studio that brought us Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition back in 2015. That game was featured for free a couple years back through PS Plus, so perhaps it will be free again next month.
3. Day of the Tentacle: Remastered
Another possibility for a free game for August is Day of the Tentacle: Remastered. This one also was free a couple years back through PS Plus, and was created by Dave Grossman and Tim Schafer. As you may know, Schafer works over at Double Fine Productions, which has a game coming out on August 20th called Rad, releasing on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
4. Until Dawn
Finally, Until Dawn was free a couple years back as well, and this would be a good time for the drama adventure to make another round for free through PS Plus. This would build more hype for the studio’s upcoming game The Dark Pictures – Man of Medan, which will release on August 30th on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
