One of the most exciting things about being a PlayStation Plus member is having a chance to play free games! During June, we got to play Trials Fusion and XCOM 2 among others, and we’re soon going to find out what games we’ll be able to play in July.
But who wants to wait around for the announcement? Based on rumors we’ve dug up, here are our free Playstation Plus July 2018 predictions.
1. Mortal Kombat X
PlayStation Plus members were previously given a chance to play Mortal Kombat on PS3 for free. With Mortal Kombat X nicely aged several years, now seems like a great time to offer the PS4 version for free on PS Plus.
2. The Walking Dead: A New Frontier
Another game we might see for free on PS Plus for PS4 next month is The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. It is common for TellTale Games to offer their titles for free through PS Plus. In fact, they did it with Season 2. So why not with Season 3?
3. Thumper
This virtual reality game has you driving down colorful neon tracks with a spacey theme. Since it can run on PSVR, it’d make a great July 2018 offering on PlayStation Plus for PS4.
4. Full Throttle Remastered
Remember this point-and-click classic from 1995? Or maybe you played the remaster which came out last year. Either way, wouldn’t it be awesome if this popular remaster were available to play for free on PS4 and Vita next month on PS Plus?
So now you have our main predictions for PlayStation Plus free games for July 2018. A couple more to add to the list might be Cel Damage HD and Child of Eden (both for PS3).
As the PS Plus free games list is announced every month during the last Wednesday, we can expect to find out the official list of free games for July 2018 on June 27th at 4.30pm BST/11.30 am EST.
