Forza Street is the latest Forza game in the series but it’s quite unlike previous games in the series. It is a free to play spin-off title that is focusing on streamlining the core racing experience that the Forza franchise is known for. It is available right now for PC users if you are reading this while Android and iOS versions are planned in the future.
Oddly enough, Forza Street has a strange history. For starters, Forza developer Turn 10 Studios “accidentally” leaked the game recently before it finally releasing today on PC. In addition, Microsoft did release a racing game called Miami Street on PC several months ago. In an odd twist, that title seems to be what we know as this game today.
The entire experience is streamlined in Forza Street. The basic premise of the game is to collect as many legendary and classic cars as you possibly can. You can win and race for these in various races. The races in this free game are much shorter than your typical Forza game as races are able to be completed in a minute for sure.
In addition, the controls of Forza Street are very different than in the other titles in the series. It revolves around timing your button presses and controls to make sure you can pass up your opponents and win the race. This is quite unlike other racing games that are free and on mobile that do give you direct control over the car.
If you are intrigued by Forza Street, you can head to the Microsoft Store and download it for your computer right now. If you’d rather play it on mobile, it is coming to Android and iOS devices in the near future.
