1. Cel Damage HD
One of the first games slated for release for the month of August this year is Skully from Finish Line Games. Being as this game is due to come out on August 4th, maybe it would be a good idea to feature another game from the same developer for free next month. Our pick is Cel Damage HD, a “fast-paced vehicle combat game where the world’s toughest cartoon drivers get behind the wheel of outlandish cars and battle each other in order to gain fame on the most popular cartoon demolition derby show on TV.”
2. Onrush
Another game coming out early in August is Inertial Drift. This arcade racer will arrive on August 7th on all major platforms. So, how about Microsoft letting us play another great arcade racer for free next month? We recommend the popular 2018 title Onrush from developer Codemasters Evo.
3. Fast & Furious: Showdown
Fast & Furious: Crossroads, the newest game based on the film franchise, will release on August 7th on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Maybe next month we can play Fast & Furious: Showdown for free, the 2013 installment in the series.
4. Remothered: Tormented Fathers
Remothered: Broken Porcelain is coming out on August 25th on all major platforms. Perhaps this would be a good time to make the previous game in the survival horror series free. Remothered: Tormented Fathers came out in 2018 and has yet to be featured through Games with Gold.
