Sony announced the full lineup for the upcoming PlayStation Classic mini-console today on the company’s blog. Last month, the hardware’s announcement prompted massive pre-orders at a variety of retailers. All this despite the fact that Sony had only confirmed five of 20 games.
Those games were Tekken 3, Wild Arms, Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash and Ridge Racer Type 4. But, fans continued to speculated about the rest of the lineup? Could any PSOne tribute be complete without Solid Snake or Resident Evil’s glass-shattering hounds?
No, it turns out. Here’s the full list of all 20 games that will be pre-loaded to PlayStation Classic when the console hits store shelves on December 3.
PlayStation Classic Full Lineup
- Battle Arena Toshinden
- Resident Evil Director’s Cut
- Cool Boarders 2
- Grand Theft Auto
- Final Fantasy VII
- Wild Arms
- Metal Gear Solid

Additionally, the PlayStation Classic will come packaged with two controllers. All together, the set will retail for $99.99, which is notably $20 higher than Nintendo’s Super NES Classic. Sony’s console also appears plagued by one of the same problems as both of Nintendo’s mini-consoles: short cords.
What Games Are You Most Excited For?
Minor complaints aside, the PlayStation Classic boasts an impressive lineup. As a Nintendo-only kid, I’m looking forward to playing all-time Sony classics like Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil for the first time.
What about you? Has this month’s Red Dead Redemption 2 given you the itch to revisit Rockstar’s first game? Are you habitual Rainbow Six Siege player with an interest in exploring the series’ origin? Want to smash stuff up in Destruction Derby? Or, like me, did you miss out on the PlayStation completely back in the day?
