Sony wants gamers to stay at home and stay safe during COVID-19. As part of an effort to encourage players to quarantine themselves, the company has started the Sony Play at Home Initiative. As part of that initiative, you now have a chance to get Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey both for free for PS4. And guess what? They are yours for life.
How to Get These Two Free Games During the Sony Play at Home Initiative
If you want to get these two games for free, you can do so starting on April 15th at 8 pm PDT. You have until May 5th at 8 pm PDT to claim them. So long as you act by that time and date, you can add the games to your digital library for free.
You do not need to play the games inside that timeframe. You can wait for as long as you want. This is not a deal where the games are temporarily free, and then get removed from your library. Once you get them, they are yours for life. You can play them anytime you want, even after the Sony Play at Home Initiative is over.
Discussing the initiative, Sony said, “At Sony Interactive Entertainment, we are privileged to bring this much-needed entertainment. We know this is just one small step and we are thankful to be able to offer this support to our players, our communities, and our partners.”
We are here to make sure you don’t miss out on any freebies from Sony during this time. Keep up with our PlayStation news, and we will let you know if you can get anything else for free. Also, if you want to save even more money on top games, don’t miss out on the PlayStation Store Spring Sale.
