Bungie introduced Armor 2.0 as one of the major changes with the Shadowkeep launch. And it really was! Armor 2.0 allowed players to play the way they like. With new builds and strategies coming in every day, Armor 2.0 is really turning out to be a great addition to the game. But, recent reports from the Destiny 2 community suggest that some armor pieces were bugged in Destiny 2 visually.
Destiny 2: Some Armor and Weapons Bugged Post Armor 2.0
Let’s get this out of the way first, we don’t have a confirmation that Armor 2.o is the main reason for this bug. We’ll get more information about it in the future. Apparently, this Reddit user has found out that some armor (and even weapons) look different after the release of Shadowkeep and Armor 2.0. If you take a look at the image below, you can see the difference as there is no glow at the center of that triangle when it was reworked after Shadowkeep.
And this is not just for armor pieces, Even weapons like Riskrunner (exotic sub-machine gun) had a lot of glowing wires and magazines on it. But after the release of Shadowkeep, the weapon just came out bland. Take a look:
As for the ships, the Reddit users also pointed out that there is one ship that falls under the same bus. Affinity’s Gift, before Shadowkeep launch, had a white glowing pattern on his front. But after the launch, it was completely removed.
This bug is ruining the looks of the weapons and armor pieces in Destiny 2. And Bungie has yet to comment on this matter. What are your thoughts on this bug? Let us know in the comments!
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is now live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, released on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
