God Eater 3 is releasing in Japan this December. With that in mind, you’d be forgiven for thinking that was the last we’d hear about the game before it’s release. After all, it hasn’t been included in the lineup for Paris Games Week, an event that starts during the end of October. But you’d be wrong in thinking Bandai Namco hasn’t got anything else to say about this game.
In fact, as it turns out, God Eater 3 will be getting a co-op mode. For those who have never played a God Eater game before, this may come as a surprise. However, God Eater has allowed four-player co-op before in previous installments. Nonetheless, the thought of an eight-player co-op? That is an entirely new idea, one we’re eager to see flourish when the game releases.
According to GameTyrant, Bandai Namco announced that God Eater 3 will have an entirely new mission. This available to players the day of its release in early 2019. This mission is known as an Assault Mission, where eight players will cooperate and work together. What you’ll be doing isn’t immediately obvious, so we’re here to tell you what you’ll be doing.
God Eater 3 Assault Missions
Assault Missions sound a lot like you and your friends rushing in and beating up everything in sight. Well, from the looks of it, you wouldn’t be too far off the mark if you thought that.
You see, in God Eater 3 you’ll be spending your time taking on a huge variety of monstrous enemies that are desperate for a good kick in the ass. With Assault Missions you can take this one step further, all by inviting your friends along for the ride.
Unfortunately, it hasn’t been confirmed whether you can just find people online to meet up with as well, but when we obtain that information then our readers will be the first to know.
God Eater comes out in Japan on the 13th of December on PS4, Xbox, and PC. A Western release date has yet to be confirmed.
