Greatest Doom Slayer Cosplay Gone Viral

A few days ago, an amazing Doom Slayer cosplay popped up on Reddit and blew everyone’s minds. It was so magnificent and detailed that it became viral within a few minutes and it is until today that everyone is talking about it.

Oarin of Scrap Shop Props Company is the creator of this epic design. He originally built it for PAX Australia 2017 where he also won the cosplay contest. He succeeded in designing it within eighteen days using a lightweight material called EVA Foam. However, he used a 3D printer to help him make the gun and the helmet.

This incredible Doom Slayer cosplay won Australia’s Sydney Supanova 2018, which makes perfect sense when you look at it. Oarin spent eighteen hours per day in order to build this masterpiece and it was totally worth it, if you ask me. The detail of the cosplay is so spectacular that it seems like the real Doom Slayer popped out from our screens and landed on planet Earth just to acquire the reward before getting back inside the game to slay more demons and monsters.

People spotted the cosplay on Reddit at first and since then the whole Doom fan base is talking about it. The attention to detail and the incredible similarity of Oarin’s cosplay with the original Doom Slayer has caught everyone’s attention. Some fans have even said that they are jealous of him. Additionally, even Bethesda itself retweeted the cosplay originally posted in the official Doom Twitter account, highlighting the following:

“We feel like we need to keep sharing this because it’s that good.”

We could not agree more to that.

Cosplay has become Oarin’s career. He has also worked with various studios like Blizzard and Riot Games. Scrap Shop Props is the name of his company and he got into cosplay in 2016. Another incredible work of his is this outstanding Overwatch’s Reinhardt cosplay.
