New GTA Online Event Celebrates the Weeny Issi with Triple Rewards
Following on from a recent event focused on Gunrunning, Rockstar has launched a new GTA Online event. This time, the focus of the event is a car; namely, the Weeny Issi, one of the game’s smallest vehicles. This event is offering players triple rewards on Issi classic races and plenty more besides.

“Sometimes big things come in teeny, tiny powerful little packages,” writes Rockstar; “and this week we’re all about the Weeny as we celebrate the outsized legacy of the pint-sized Weeny Issi in all its forms.”
This latest event in GTA Online’s headline feature is triple rewards for all Issi Classic Races. However, the event goes beyond that in focusing on the Issi. Every GTA Online player will automatically receive a Weeny Tee for free, while all Issi vehicles are currently 50% off. In fact, a Weeny Issi has been added to the prize list on The Diamond Casino’s Lucky Wheel too.
Of course, as with most GTA Online events, this event offers a range of supplementary bonuses and discounts beyond its primary focus. While the event is active, all players can get double GTA$ and RP from both Lamar’s Lowrider Missions and Madrazo Dispatch. Additionally, while the Issi, Issi Classic, and Issi Sport are 50% off, there are discounts available on other vehicles as well. The Truffade Nero, Declasse Mamba, and Vysser Nero are all 40% off, for example. Players can also get the Progen PR4 and HVY Brickade for 30% off. Finally, the Imponte Deluxo flying car is 40% off too.
Finally, and as per usual, the event features a few extra benefits for Twitch Prime users. Such users who connect their Twitch Prime account to their Social Club account can get a rebate on Pixel Pete’s Arcade. Plus, you’ll get a discount of 80% on the Mammoth Tula plane and 60% on the Grotti Furia supercar. In fact, if you’re a new player and you link your Twitch Prime account by the 3rd of June, you’ll receive a massive bonus of GTA$1,250,000.
