The GTA Online Holiday Brings Snow, Discounts, and a New Supercar
It’s that time of year once again; GTA Online has gotten its annual holiday update, covering Los Santos in a blanket of snow. This year’s GTA Online holiday update features much of what players have come to expect, along with in-game store discounts, free gifts, and even a new Grotti supercar.
The 2019 GTA Online Holiday Update
“Los Santos is getting into the holiday spirit in a big way,” writes Rockstar; “Local businesses, including The Diamond Casino and Resort, are decking their halls with towering trees, boughs of holly and wreathes of glittering tinsel. […] Weazel News’ crackpot weather team have even forecast a rare spate of snowfall in the coming days, meaning you and your buddies can get together and indulge in an honest-to-goodness, old-fashioned snowball fight.”
The headline feature of the 2019 GTA Online holiday update is the Grotti Furia, an all-new Grotti variant supercar. This sleek new vehicle is now available at Legendary Motorsport. Additionally, Rockstar is offering any players who log into the game on the 24th of December a variety of free content, including the Fireworks Launcher and 20 Firework Rockets. An even larger free bundle will be available on the 25th, including an all-new RC Tank.
Various festive cosmetics will be free throughout December, while two new festive podium vehicles have been added as prized in The Diamond Casino; the Ocelot Ardent and Vapid Clique (from the 25th, in the latter case). Finally, players can get discounts on a wide variety of in-game purchases, with the exact details as follows:
