Rockstar’s latest in-game event for GTA Online – Pilot Week – is now live, and as per usual, it’s offering a range of bonus rewards, discounts, and even a free aircraft. The week-long event went live earlier today, and as the name implies, its offerings are focused on planes and aerial game modes.
The GTA Online Pilot Week Event is Now Live
“Look above the Maze Bank Tower and you might see a squadron of high-flying stunt junkies manoeuvring in perfect synchronicity, dipping in and out of cloud cover,” writes Rockstar; “It’s Pilot Week in GTA Online, so there’s no better time to take to the skies. In the event of an emergency, please assume the bracing position.”
The headline feature of the GTA Online Pilot Week event is that the Stockpile mode will be offering triple normal rewards for its duration. That includes both GTA$ and RP, of course. That isn’t the only way to get bonus rewards, however. All Air Cargo Sales and Flight School missions are also offering double their normal rewards during Pilot Week, which ends on the 15th of July.
As with any GTA Online event, Pilot Week also features a range of discounts on certain in-game purchases. The biggest of these is that, during the event, you can get the Nagasaki Ultralight completely free from Elitás Travel. That’s the only free offering this week, but if you want a new hangar to store it in, now’s the time to buy; the Fort Zancudo Hangar 3497, Fort Zancudo Hangar 3499, Fort Zancudo Hangar A2, LSIA Hangar 1, and LSIA Hangar A17 are all 50% off. In fact, all Hangar Renovations and Garage Properties are also 50% off.
Rounding out the list of discounts, the FH-1 Hunter, LF-22 Starling, RM-10 Bombushka, and Western Rogue are all 40% off. Meanwhile, the Coil Rocket Voltic, Declasse Scramjet, Pegassi Osiris, and Progen T20 are 30% off.
