Arc System Works made their fans happy when they announced a Guilty Gear XX Nintendo Switch port. This announcement took place during the Nexon Developers Conference back in Apri. lArc System Works estimated that this port would be complete by the end of 2018. Sadly, a recently announced delay indicates the game will be released in 2019 instead.

Through their official Twitter account, Arc System Works made the announcement regarding the delay. The rough translation from Japanese reveals that Arcsys will delay the product’s release till 2019. Arc System Works then apologized to their fans for the inconvenience and promised new information information would be on the horizon soon.

To make matters worse, Arc System Works didn’t really state a concrete date for release. Leaving the release date as just 2019. However, it’s safe to assume that we’ll see this Guilty Gear XX Nintendo Switch port during the first quarter of 2019.
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R was originally launched for arcades and was ported to the PSVita and PC. The Nintendo Switch port will include some enhancements and balance adjustments added to the base game. The game will also include solo and online modes with plenty of extra material to keep the player entertained for a long time.
