Halo: Fireteam Raven Arcade Console Is Heading To Australia

Halo: Fireteam Raven, 343 Industries’ new arcade title, has been exclusively available for the United States up until now. However, as it was expected, the famous arcade machines will be soon available in Australia as well.

As you might already know, 343 Industries’ collaboration with Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix has resulted into a powerful Halo arcade cabinet called Halo: Fireteam Raven. Apart from two 4K screens and mounted weapons, Halo: Fireteam Raven has a brand new story line for the Halo universe.

The arcade cabinet was available exclusively in US for a couple of months now. It is also up for purchase, priced at a massive amount of for £51,997.00 (close to $7k).

However, the cabinet is now “traveling” to Australia to be available at Timezone locations in Australia later this month in Sydney, Melbourne, the Gold Coast, and Perth.

As Gamestop reports, the first location Halo: Fireteam Raven will be playable at is the Timezone location at the Macquarie Centre in Sydney.

The event will also feature a costume contest with a year’s worth of Timezone gaming credit prize for the big winner. Additionally, YouTube content creators for the Halo community will attend the event, while people can also purchase Halo merchandise during the launch event.

Sadly, Halo: Fireteam Raven will be exclusive to arcade and won’t be available on Xbox One in the future. Even though its availability is limited for now, we expect it to be coming to major events and big cities in the months to come.

Let’s hope that Halo players all around the world will be able to experience Halo: Fireteam Raven in the new future, since it’s the closest thing we have to arcade gaming in 2018. Old school gaming meets high technology. Is this the next big trend for gaming or a good idea that is destined only for a few privileged players?
