We all know it, a new Halo title is making its way to Xbox One and PC. Microsoft and 343 Industries have been extremely laconic about the project, however, our dearest friends on Reddit have gathered all the Halo Infinite information you need to know for now.
All the Halo Infinite information found on this post can be seen in detail on this thread on the Halo subreddit. With that being said, let’s dive right into it:
Halo Infinite is the supposed Halo 6 title rumored for years now. 343 Industries indicated they wanted to move away from numbered titles so the name makes complete sense. What we know about its plot is that it follows the story of Master Chief, hence his appearance on the teaser trailer.
The game won’t be the last title to be added to the Reclaimer Trilogy and more will be added to the franchise in the future. All indications show that Halo Infinite will be an open world title, since 343 Industries has previously stated that the new game will be “capacious”.
One question that was replayed a lot on the media over the past days is the lack of multiplayer on launch. New Halo Infinite information indicate that this is false and that both single and multiplayer modes will be available from day 1.
Halo Infinite will release on Xbox One and the Xbox One X, as well as Windows 10 via Xbox Play Anywhere. It will include LAN and Split Screen. while no other information about its gameplay and modes have been provided.
As for its testing period, the thread reveals that there will be a beta phase for Halo Infinite, much like what happened with Halo: The Master Chief Collection. More information on the title will be provided later on, as the game will start taking its form and 343 Industries will be able to reveal more.
