Halo MCC Will Not Include Halo 5

Will Halo: The Master Chief Collection feature Halo 5? This is a question that has been on many gamers’ minds. Alas, we now have an answer, and it is that Halo MCC will not include Halo 5. This news comes straight from 343 Industries, who recently posted about the matter. Although this is not what a lot of people wanted to hear, it is worth reading the wording of the announcement closely.

343 Industries Confirmed Halo MCC Will Not Include Halo 5

The post explains, “This [Halo 4] is the last Halo title we currently have planned for the collection (sorry to crush your Halo 5 in MCC dreams), so let’s finish strong!” The phrasing is noteworthy, because while it does close the door on the possibility for now, “currently,” it leaves it unlocked. Maybe the team will revisit the possibility later. But for the time being, we may as well stop holding our breaths. If that does happen, it won’t be anytime soon.
