Following the launch of Operation Dark Divide, the latest season of post-launch content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Treyarch has today increased the amount of maps and modes which players will have access to. The latest Black Ops 4 update includes map additions for Zombies, as well as the return of Heavy Metal Heroes.

What’s Included in the Latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Update
First up in the latest Black Ops 4 update is the addition of both Alpha Omega and Tag der Toten to the Zombies daily contract pools. This means that there will be more maps available on which to get Daily Tier Skips. Furthermore, the update brings Arms Race TDM and Heavy Metal Heroes to the Featured Playlist. This is the first time that Heavy Metal Heroes has returned to the playlist since it was first available at the start of Operation Dark Divide. These two modes were meant to come to the playlist tomorrow. However, Treyarch decided to add Heavy Metal Heroes early.
When it comes to general fixes in this update, there are just two, and they apply to a weapon and a reactive camo. First of all, a bug that caused the Clan Tag and Kill Counter to cover part of the iron sights on the VMP is no more. Secondly, Treyarch has fixed a problem which stopped the Incandescent Reactive Camo applying to firearms if players had disabled Graphic Content in the game’s settings. While these are only a couple of small fixes, players should look forward to a more comprehensive patch coming later in the season.
According to Treyarch, a much larger game update for Operation Dark Divide is coming soon. This will include quality of life improvements as well as bug fixes and the like. (Specifically, Treyarch has promised a fix for an issue where the Hellion Salvo doesn’t correctly unlock Diamond Camo.) However, the release date of this update isn’t yet public knowledge.
