There are thirteen Legends in Apex Legends. But as of right now, there are only Heirlooms for six of them. Been wondering when the remaining Legends will get their Heirloom sets, or even if they will get them? Respawn just announced that Heirlooms are coming for all Apex Legends characters.
What Respawn Said About Heirlooms Coming for All Apex Legends
For those not in the know, heirloom sets include special banner poses, intro quips and melee weapon skins for each Legend. Every set is individualized for each character in the game. They aren’t easy to come by, and are highly coveted as a result.
A fan on Twitter asked about Heirlooms for Crypto. Respawn developer Jason McCord responded:
He wrote, “I bet all legends get their heirlooms eventually… but I know the next 2 legends planned. Don’t wait?”
To be fair, that isn’t exactly a confirmation, being as he only said “I bet” that Heirlooms are coming for all Apex Legends. Still, it seems unlikely he would have even said that much if there was much doubt in his mind. So, that is close to being a confirmation.
But alas, “don’t wait” seems to indicate that we may be, well, waiting, for some time before Crypto gets Heirlooms. Josh Medina echoed this, so if you are a Crypto main, you would probably do best to think about something other than Heirlooms for a while.
