Every now and then, we have new in-game cosmetics in Overwatch. The Overwatch team at Blizzard is doing a fantastic job with the hero’s skins in the game. With each new event released, we have new skins for specific heroes as well. This time with Winter Wonderland 2019, we’ve had a really cool-looking skin for Sigma. This event is going strong in the game which was started on December 10, 2019, to January 2, 2019. Today, we’ll be discussing some of the best skins we’ve had over this year in Overwatch.

This list is from every in-game event from Lunar New Year to Halloween Terror to Winter Wonderland. There is one skin that was designed for a professional Overwatch player. While this skin was not available in Overwatch in-game store for everyone, it still is one of the best skins for Zenyatta we’ve had this year. Zen-Nakji is designed only for the professional player “JJoNak” who is considered one of the most lethal Zenyatta players in Overwatch. Overwatch 2 was announced last month during the BlizzCon 2019. Since then, we have been hearing a lot of rumors about the original Overwatch going Free-to-Play later next year. While there is no official announcement on this matter, we may very well see Overwatch 1 go F2P very soon. As for the release date for this sequel, Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan did comment on this matter saying “I don’t have a date; it’s not this year, that’s a pretty safe answer. I have a feeling we’ll be talking about Overwatch 2 again next year at BlizzCon. If that helps.” So it is safe to say that Overwatch 2 is pretty far from now and we’ll probably get to play this title on next-gen platforms. What are your thoughts on this? Overwatch was released on May 24, 2016, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Overwatch 2 doesn’t have an exact release date at this moment but is expected to hit the consoles and PC in 2020.
