Some people might have bitter memories towards Loot Boxes. In fact, there was a period of time where Loot Boxes became prominent features among many games. However, this phenomenon stopped partly due to the government regulation practices. After that, many games started to completely scrap Loot Boxes from their structure. Blizzard made the announcement over at the Heroes of the Storm Blog. The March 19 PTR patch for the game will bring the removal of the game’s Loot Boxes.
