Hitman 2’s Sean Bean Elusive Target Is Coming Back Alongside the Miami Pack DLC

To celebrate the sunny spring season, Io Interactive has unveiled a new Hitman 2 Miami Pack purchase option. The Miami Pack provides a more affordable entry point for new Hitman 2 players which includes a wealth of content. Best of all, Io is also giving all Hitman 2 players a second crack at the Mark Faba Elusive target. Mark Faba, as fans will recall, is located in the Miami location, which means Miami Pack buyers can find him. Faba is also portrayed by legendary Game of Thrones/Lord of the Rings actor Sean Bean.

According to this announcement post from Io, the Hitman 2 Miami Pack is available now for $15. Those who purchase the Miami Pack gain permanent access to the following content:

  • The Hawk’s Bay starter location and accompanying ‘Nightcall’ story mission
  • The entire Miami location and accompanying ‘The Finish Line’ story mission
  • Competitive 1v1 Ghost Mode for the Miami location
  • Himmelstein Sniper Assassin single-player/co-op map
  • The upcoming Spring Break Challenge Pack which includes a series of specially-themed Miami challenges. Completing all the challenges unlocks a unique Blue Flamingo outfit for Agent 47.
  • All current and future Escalation Contracts, Featured Contracts and Elusive Targets for Hawk’s Bay and Miami.

Starting on May 3, Mark Faba, a.k.a. The Undying, will also return to Hitman 2’s Miami location. Faba will stick around until June 3, giving players an entire month to take him out. However, as with all other Elusive Targets, players only get one shot at eliminating Faba. If the player dies or if Faba escapes, there are no second chances.

Considering how heavily Sean Bean (as Faba) is featured in Hitman 2’s promotional materials, his return visit isn’t surprising. Plus, it actually makes a bit of sense from a Hitman lore perspective. Faba’s “Undying” codename references his uncanny ability to fake his own death. Perhaps the Faba that players killed the first time around wasn’t the real Mark Faba….

Now’s a great time to get into Hitman 2 thanks to the game’s recently launched April update. Plus, there’s plenty more to come throughout 2019.
