Hitman Halloween Pack Offers a Spooky Taste of the Full Game

There’s still a few weeks left before the November 13 launch of Io Interactive’s Hitman 2. However, fans of the sequel’s 2016 predecessor have one last Halloween-themed treat to enjoy before Hitman 2’s launch. A special Halloween DLC pack is available now for 2016’s Hitman, allowing new and existing players to sample its contents.

The Hitman Halloween Pack is now available.

Hitman Halloween Pack

Io announced the Hitman Halloween Pack’s availability via this post on its website. The pack, which is a free download, is also available to those who don’t already own the core Hitman game. Included in the pack are 10 specially made Featured Contracts which have a suitably spooky theme:

“In the spirit of Halloween, we’ve created 10 Featured Contracts that are spooky, creepy or otherwise frightening. We had a lot of fun making them and we hope you’ll enjoy playing through them. We created some that are focused on disguises, others tell spooky stories through the briefing and others are plain mayhem.”

Those who download the Hitman Halloween Pack can utilize a special Scarecrow outfit for Agent 47. You can see the Scarecrow outfit in action via the below teaser trailer.

The Hitman Halloween pack also grants full access to the game’s Colorado level. Those who download the pack can play Colorado’s main story mission, Escalation Contracts, and Featured Contracts. Best of all, your Halloween Pack progress transfers over if you buy the full game afterwards.

Io Interactive says the Halloween Pack is only available for a limited time, though it didn’t provide a clear timetable. If you want the Halloween Pack for yourself, be sure to claim it sooner rather than later. At the very least, the pack should stick around for the rest of October.

In other Hitman news, Hitman 2’s first Elusive Target will be none other than renowned British actor Sean Bean. The upcoming sequel will also have a unique 1v1 competitive experience called Ghost Mode.
