All told, there are six different Call of Duty: Mobile classes available to players in the game’s Battle Royale mode. This roster runs the gamut from the standard (Defender, Medic, etc.) to the bizarre (Clown), but generally gives players a fairly diverse range of options. However, among all six, there is only one which is arguably much better if you’re a member of a team, and that’s the Medic. While it may not be as useful as a solo class, the Medic is invaluable if you’re playing Battle Royale with teammates. Plus, it does still have some unique boons for solo play.
The Call of Duty: Mobile Classes – The Medic (Abilities)
Every one of the Call of Duty: Mobile classes features two abilities; a permanent passive ability and an an ability which can be activated. As you might expect, both of the Healer’s abilities have to do with healing your squadmates. Their passive ability is called Master Healer, and it makes the Medic much more effective when it comes to the game’s healing and revival mechanics. Medics can use healing items in Battle Royale faster than other classes, and they can also revive their teammates faster.
The Medic’s second ability is Medical Station, which allows them to deploy a healing beacon. This machine, once set down, provides an aura denoted by a blue circle. Within this area, the Medic and their allies will heal. Deciding when to deploy the Medical Station is key to playing an effective Medic. As Activision puts it; “Dropping this while looting the area might be a good idea, as the whole team can decide which weapons and equipment to loot while soaking in all those lost hit points.”
Although the Medic is arguably best suited to team play, it’s not useless as a solo class. The Master Healer ability means that you can heal yourself with items faster than normal. Of course, the Medical Station heals you just as well as allies too. If, playing solo, you find that you’re struggling to survive to the end of a round in Battle Royale, it might be worth trying the Medic out.
